About Me

Art/Craft:
I have been dabbling in rubber stamping and mixed media for going on 18 years and have been a Stampin' Up! customer the entire time.  I taught classes for several years in Springfield, MO at a local store until the owner retired. I have been published in Somerset Studio, Stampers Sampler and Vamp Stamp News. I have done samples for several rubber stamp companies. A mixed media piece I created was a top 10 finisher in the 2007 Kirkland's Home search for the Next Great American Artist out of over 1700 entries. (to date, my most exciting art related achievement)

I had dreamt of becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for over 10 years. I finally took the plunge in June of 2014 and joined the company.  It is an honor to be involved with a company like Stampin' Up! and I'm having the time of my life.

Personal:
I've been married for 35 years to the love of my life. We have 2 children and several grandchildren who keep us busy. I have ran several marathons and half marathons and am getting ready to start training for more of each.

  4. i, too, am so glad I found your blog. Your "foolproof watercolor" blog was fascinating! I have to try it! The end result was absolutely gorgeous! While I am not a runner, my son and his wife are. They travel all over the US and ran a marathon along the Great Wall of China last year. This summer they are going to Iceland to run a marathon along a glacier with friends they met on the China marathon. Great sport, great way to meet new friends!
